1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup walnut halves
1 box yellow cake mix
1 teaspoon corn syrup
8 pineapple slices
1/4 cup halved maraschino cherries
Heat oven as directed on package.
Melt butter in 9-in square pan. Add corn syrup and brown sugar;
heat; stirring to boiling.
Arrange pineapple slices over syrup; fill spaces between with walnuts
and cherries.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
Pour half of batter over fruit.
Bake as directed on backage; allowing an extra 5-10 minutes.
Invert on serving plate; leave pan over cake 1-2 minutes.
