Ryan's Pickles

Brine:
3 cups white vinegar
3 cups water
1/4 cup pickling salt
1 teaspoon peppercorns

Pickles:
10 cucumbers sliced
2 heads garlic chunked
2 medium onions chunked
3 banana peppers chunked
3 jalapeno pepper chunked
1 cayenne pepper whole
dill

Mix brine ingredients together and bring to a full boil.
While boiling brine, assemble pickle ingredients in layers (i.e. cucumbers, garlic, onions, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, cucumbers, garlic, onions, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, etc.).
Place cayenne pepper whole, in the middle of the jar when layering.
After all pickle ingredients are layered (jar will be quite full) pour hot brine over the top.
Seal lid and let sit for several days.
Makes 1 gallon.
