Castle Bed
This is a "castle" bunk bed I built for my daughters. It's about 6 feet high and 9 feet long. It has an internal frame of maple which is mostly covered with birch ply, trimmed with pine for the "stones." Under the bed are four integral drawers on full extension slides. These are currently stuffed with Barbies :-) The four towers are octagonal and constructed of birch plywood with three "floors" and a secret compartment in the base. These were the most difficult part of the project. We had a local artist paint it and the room. Then I coated it with polyurethane to keep the paint intact. I will NOT be taking additional orders.
